Advice to someone wanting to start their own weight loss journey:
I struggled with my weight for years and with my lower back. I did not realize that most of my issues were because of my weight. I reached 220 pounds at the end of October 2011 and my back doctor advised me that I needed to have surgery because my lower disks needed to be repaired. I started dieting on my own but
I realized that I had no idea what I was doing and realized that I needed help. I had my surgery and I started attending One Body Weight Loss & Wellness Center.
Tell us about your weight loss transition from where you were to where you are now:
Today, I understand how food affects my body and health over all, and what I need to do to keep off the weight. I was happy to find the formula that worked for me and my body. Today, a year later, my back healed – no more pain, I am active doing the things that I love to do and I am a happy person. It was, and it is, a life changing style of living and not just existing. I did it for my health and my back and now I am a happy healthy person.
One Body made a difference in my life because…
I learned to understand how my body relates to food and exercise. I also learned that certain types of foods affect my body and my weight. I do understand now what to do to enjoy food without gaining weight. I was looking for a program that mentors me and helps me to understand my body and I found it. Thank you for everything!
